What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri

Got my first speeding ticket today. It was 44 in a 30. Was going along with flow of traffic got stopped when I turned at a intersection. Got to reading the ticket it reads mercadez for make and amg for model and blk for color. None of that is correct. It's a Mercedes Ml320 not even a amg car and its green. The hwy it occurred on where the officer was parked is different than the location written on the ticket. Is there any argument on this ticket? It states on the citation that a different vehicle was doing 44 in a 30 on a different highway than I was on..

Also on a side note I'm 30 years old and never had any points on my license only minor seat belt tickets.

No.

Well, ya do now.
You have, on a public forum admitted that you were doing 44 in a 30 zone and provided all the correct details.
Let's just hope the judge and the officer issuing the ticket do not belong to the forum.

You're toast. Pay your fines and be done with it and slow down...:D

I must have missed the part where I ever stated that I was even doing that speed. Not to mention there were at least 3 other cars around me. Now if the officer is incapable of reading and writing correct information on a citation what makes anyone believe he's even capable of reading a radar properly? How do we even know he clocked me not any other car around? Hell it says year make model when you run plates and on the insurance card he had. So.. I guess I'll await another rude comment.

...he's even capable of reading a radar properly?

I must have missed the part where you said he used radar.

I've also never seen an insurance card that listed a license plate.

You're grasping at straws. Those errors are minor. The "going with the flow of traffic" defense does not work. You're the one who got picked out and written - your bad luck. It's not an excuse for driving above the posted speed limit.

As stated by others, going with the flow of traffic is not a defense to speeding. All because others are breaking the law does not give you a pass to do so also.

Oh, and you ask where you admitted to going that speed? It's right there where you admit to going with the flow of traffic. Unless you are contending that all the cars around you were similarly going 30 MPH.

Got to reading the ticket it reads mercadez for make and amg for model and blk for color. None of that is correct. It's a Mercedes Ml320 not even a amg car and its green.
Such errors are also not automatic dismissals since they are not elements of the offense. You can TRY to argue the officer's inattention to detail and see if the court will agree that it shows he was not paying all that close attention, but, it's a loooong shot.

The hwy it occurred on where the officer was parked is different than the location written on the ticket. Is there any argument on this ticket? It states on the citation that a different vehicle was doing 44 in a 30 on a different highway than I was on..
See above.

Everyone has a clear record until they are caught.

How about we try this again without sarcasm.. First post on this forum. So far one of the worst forums.. So I do NOT believe I was going above the posted speed. The police officer was sitting on the side of the highway. Now reason for my argument is that of he is incapable of reading and insurance card that does state vehicle make/model or when he runs a license plate number he gets the same information what makes anyone think he's capable of properly using a radar? There were more than one car on the highway. Now how do we know he got the correct car? On the citation it's sworn under penalty of law that ALL information be correct. Which it is not.

Never said the insurance card had the license plate listed. If you reread my post it stated the year make and model is on the insurance card.

Again, how do you know it was radar?

One thing has nothing to do with the other. Feel free to use that argument when you go to court and let us all know what happens.

There were more than one car on the highway. Now how do we know he got the correct car?

We don't know anything because we weren't there.

On the citation it's sworn under penalty of law that ALL information be correct.

I very much doubt that's what it says - you're interpretation of what you are reading is not correct. That's ridiculous.

With your arrogant attitude you should do well defending yourself in court.

The box for stationary radar is checked

Exact words on the citation are as follows
I, knowing that false statements on this form are punishable by law, state that I have probable cause to believe that:

But I'm arrogant because I know how to read correct?

I'm pretty sure I'm done with this joke forum.
