Sounds like the tow of them deserve each other. Someone beat the crap out of me, ESPECIALLY in front of my children I'll be damned if I'm bailing their sorry ass out of jail. Then for him to do what he did and try to turn the tables on you making you the bad guy is more stupid then I've ever heard. I just sit back and laugh when these parents want to down the other parent and then do stupid stuff like this or not contact their kids or whatever and then tell you what a bad parent you are and how the children will resent you... blah blah blah. Just shows their stupidity. These children although now pretty much love them no matter what learn very very quick who they can and can't depend on and later in life we're not the ones they will resent. Just letting nature take it's course is the best revenge.
Those kids KNOW they are lucky to have you there with them. Let me guess Dad thinks what he did was NO BIG deal and he's expecting the kids back? HA HA HA fat chance of that happening... Hope he likes the shoe on the other foot now.
