In general, a subpoena. You should seriously consider hiring an attorney or asking the court to appoint one for you if you cannot afford it.

Lawgirl, besides wasting your time on this jerk, try to remember civil procedure 101. This is a moving violation, NOT a criminal charge. Therefore where do you suppose his attorney will be come from?

I'll give you a thankyou, hows that
You're welcome.

If you want people to listen to you, then you must use clear and simple English and don't be so confusing. Notice all the people who tried to help you once you got off your very verbose high horse! :D

How do I go about requesting the evidence against me? This probably differs from state to state but I just need a general idea, do I need to file any paper work or is there a specific person to contact?
After you plead not guilty and a trial date is set, file a motion for discovery asking the prosecutor to turn over the evidence against you.

Uh, possession of marijuana? Isnt that a criminal charge? Try actually reading my post rather than just trying to critique me and calling me a 'jerk'

I like my verbose high horse, but yeah thanks for the help, I am getting an attorney but I just wanted to do my research on the topic beforehand. Sorry I had to wrench my help from this board

Post back with results.
I know you can't say "I'm sorry" but I will pretend you did.

The original facts of this case include a charge of possession of marijuana. It is in a link at the beginning of this thread which links to the original thread that was started and then locked. I will ignore the slam you thought you were making. :p
