What is the name of your state? IA live in Jersey order and child in.
When Vistation has been denied due to having the child in every sport, taking trips out of the country repeatedly.
Where does the N/c stand?
The child now 18 was told 2 yrs ago in school with a counselor and the custodial to allow her to visit her dad. The mother broke down crying and again manipulated her saying she raised her. She has the child brainwashed the father gave up rights and he never did. He now has copies of all school records after 2 years of trying got Ferpa and us dept educ involved. Dtr told him he has no right to it WRONG! Parental rights were never taken. They are there. We are doing without so she can live a life of luxury. Is he not entitled to visitation? Only to find out she is taken out of the country repeatedly. Again, is the n/c supposed to be advised of this?
The custodial was contacted upon the marriage 6 years ago trying to establish an 'extended family' she was so jealous, that even when the n/c moved back for 6 months she would not allow the child to see the new step mother. She is a controlling jealous person who she is now living with her female domestic partner.
We realize she is a Sr in hs and yet for all these years we were promised visits and never got them. We figured that once she is on her own(if ever) she will have a hard lesson to learn that life is not given to you. You need to work and earn it.
The child was given a new car from Granma warbucks an it just is wrong to teach a child that "life owes you" .
I know for fact all the effort in the past 7 years alone how many times called to no answer or busy or other plans. If we lived around the corner, she would have had to deal with vists. In the order it states 24 hour notice any time. So basically every day if he wanted. She made a point to be difficult. That is why the father should be in the life of the child and the custodial that seems to view the child as a 'possession' is oh so wrong!
So, my point is this. Since all those years cannot be replaced, we continued to pay and turn the cheek. Times up. If we have to continue to pay CS until age 23 we demand visitations. How can we do this or do the courts view age and say they don't have to go?
