If the bolded part is true, the bolded and italicized parts scare me. By the time you get to 36, with a college degree and (apparently) a profession - don't you learn to proof and/or spell check what you write?

Hard as it is for me to fathom, I've come to the conclusion that 99.999% of the population doesn't actually care about spelling or grammar. It matters not what the intellectual capacity, education level or profession of the person is... they just can't be bothered.

That is really scary.

It just occurred to me... his 'barbar' license will be revoked almost as soon as he gets it due to the games he's playing.

Bahahahahahaha.

Though I'm certain he's got NO intention of actually GETTING his 'barbar' license. There's a test given on 9/29. Wanna bet he's NOT taking it?

How about the one on 10/06?

Or 11/10?

Funny, I just heard someone on the radio remarking today that our society's all about college and yet "kids" are learning in college today what we learned in 9th grade. So much for "higher education."

And, I think you're spot on about the "barbar" license. There's a word for men like this and it's most commonly heard on That 70's Show.

Are you serious!? No one here is going to ask what a Barbar shop is?

I must be really dumb.

Wasn't barbar an English Elephant? Oh, sorry that was Babar. Her stupidity is astounding if she is telling the truth about being in her mid thirties AND college educated and degreed. She needs to grow up, wake up and start using the brains that God gave her.

if she is telling the truth about being in her mid thirties

I'm a little iffy with that. She has no discernable motive for wanting us to believe she's older than she is, but since when do people in their mid-thirties use "going on" to describe their age? If not 36, I'm guessing an extremely immature 23-24.

Precisely what I thought when I read it.

I'm 36. Full stop. In fact, when someone asked me my age the other day I answered without hesitating "37" -- even though my 36th birthday was just a couple weeks ago. (Getting confused in my old age.)

For your info...I said "going on" because I will be 37 on October 13th. As far as my education goes, I made some typo errors BIG DEAL!! . I've advised my husband to do the right thing since the very begining which was get a DNA test and take her to court to have things done in order and by law...What my husband does on his own, I can't help. If he dosen't want to do the right thing , I can't make him...period. And yes, he doesn't treat me like that, I'm sorry if you think he do...maybe he will change on me, I don't know.....but I know he dosen't treat me like he treat her....they HATE each other

Can you blame her for hating you and your husband?

Not only TYPING errors but also grammar errors. The fact that you are college educated doesn't really matter quite frankly. Nor does the fact that you are immature and naive. You will learn eventually.

I know several very intelligent people who can't spell worth a darn. It's that dyslexia thing going on. My X is at the top of the list - higher IQ than mine, but you'd never figure that out with his spelling ability. My youngest struggles in spelling too. It's all HIS fault. There. I was a top notch speller.

Ya know.... so's my ex - and he's a college professor. But he does know how to use that nifty little tool known as a spell checker (used to be known as wife before we divorced). My youngest is also a terrible speller. She's learning to use spell check and *gasp* a dictionary to get it right.

And I'm sorry - but if you're going to pat yourself on the back for having a college education and a profession, but you can't express yourself coherently? Expect to get flack for it. It's ignorant and unprofessional.

they HATE each other
Well, there's a fine line between love and hate. He sounds extremely emotionally invested in her still. It wasn't all that long ago that they were getting naked together doing the most intimate things 2 people can do. It's not NORMAL for a man to have so many feelings for someone he doesn't give a crap about any more. Think about it. But, you haven't helped this at all. I think you'd like to believe he HATES her, but in reality she has had many reasons to kick HIM to the curb so if he return he HATES her, it's mostly the sheer rejection by her and not wanting to be subject to his nonsense. He should be grateful she's doing a great job taking care of their child and grow up himself.

And I bet he loved his ex in the beginning too, and funnily enough it ended up with hate. Don't fool yourself into thinking that "once lovers, always lovers" exist.
The fact that he doesn't want to do the "right thing" by her now, is a HUGE telltale sign of his character. Red flag alert!!

But on the other hand, I know a stepmother that is just this insecure. I just dont know.
