will an EIN number work for free personal checking act app

heres my question. I have a EIN number and I requested a chexsystems report and they sent me one so i do have a chexsystems report with my EIN number, but it just has 2 bank inquiries on it, nothing reported.If i go to a bank and try to get a free PERSONAL checking account and give them my drivers license but tell them my EIN as my ss#, will it work? i want a personal checking account, not business account. Im thinking it might since i do have a chexsystems report. i did notice though on the back of the chexsystems report it said my number wasnt issued by the social security administration but i dont think that banks even see that, i think they just check if uve been reported and if u actually have a file with chexsystems and this is just for a free checkign account with no interest. so does anyone know if this will work?

so you think they won't know the difference between an EIN and your SS#.

The banks have been though most of the scams and tend to pick up on them quite quickly.

i asked for people that KNOW the answer, not harrassement. and i have a seperate PERSONAL credit report with my EIN so ur wrong, they just type in what u tell them for the ss on the app. so does anyone know if it will work? im pretty sure it will.

if you can find a bank dumb enough to fall for it, go for it. When it is discovered you lied on the application, be prepared for any problems that come with that.

if the bank doesn't catch it, the IRS most likely will.
