A simple opinion shared has created so much hype! All I wanted to say was we still have so many advertisements (cannot mention names) which DO MISLEAD people. They do not fulfill the claims they make. And if you say that the products react differently from person to person, then that is not mentioned anywhere on my shampoo bottle. And for all those who think this was or is spam post, I am sorry to disappoint you all but its not. It was a genuine concern on an issue I faced personally. It was like everyone was waiting for some fodder to comment on and blame it to be spam! Mocking someone cant help, but helping them understand some issue better could be a polite thing to do.

You need to read the disclaimer. Results may vary.

Vague, non-specific posts like yours are usually spam. That's why we assumed you were spamming. If you're not spamming, then maybe we can help. However, we will need more details about your issue, like:

  1. the name of the product,
  2. what the ads said it would do, and
  3. how this differed from your personal experience with the product.
When we have this information, we will make a serious attempt to assist you.

But, eerelations, even with additional information and assuming there was no physical injury suffered by Nancy after using the purchased products, Nancy's recourse is to file complaints with the FTC and her state's consumer protection agency. If Nancy was injured by the products (rash or other skin reaction, hair loss, etc) and the risks of reactions were not mentioned anywhere on the labels, then a complaint to the FDA might be warranted.

Nancy could also contact an attorney in her area for a personal assessment of her hair, face and skin and the product claims, and for a professional opinion of her chances of successfully pursuing a lawsuit against the company offering the products, but I am thinking her odds of a successful suit are slim to none.

And Nancy, you were judged by forum members on your past postings, which were nonsense. There was no reason to believe this thread you started here was anything but more of the same.

You know, my husband used that hair spray in a can, and man... let's just say Troy Polumalu has nothing on his gorgeous mane now:D

Be still my beating heart - you invoked my Celebrity Husband!

I heart Troy.

And his hair.

He also plays football, apparently ;) :D

Maybe I'm misreading this, but I presume you are referring to this fine product?
https://www.ronco.com/products/glh/index.html

If so, I can see giving Troy a run for his money, especially if you use the whole can.

Yes but you're not one of my Celebrity Husbands.

I mean I could alter the pecking order (the top three vary), but I'd need to see your hair.

Totally would. :D

Also are you a strong safety and can you sack as often as Troy does?
