Texas I have been reading here for a couple of years mostly just to learn. However, I do have a question. Does anyone know if criminal non-support charges are able to be brought against someone who refuses to pay their support in Texas? My ex is over $20,000.00 in arrears and refuses to get...

Armed Forces - Child support/Custody question

Ok, gotta ask... School is in your town. Dad moved over an hour away. Custody order gives dad primary address. But does dad have child most of the time? I ask because most people will not drive their child to school over an hour away from their place of residence. It made me curious...

I stopped for a school bus.........

A personal injury attorney would know how to direct you and would also know of doctors (neurologists, etc.) that would see you and wait for their payment for when the insurance company pays you. The attorney would also know if the doctors are doing the right thing by you and not overtreating...

lost earning capacity? as part of my claim??

I don't know about other states, but I do know that in Texas you can. Even if you used paid time from your job, you have now lost the ability to claim that amount of time for something else if you were to need it. If you have lost time, you need to claim that time no matter what.

    what does this mean?

I have so much respect for parents that choose to PARENT their children all of their lives and absolutely none for scum that choose to disrupt a child's life for their own selfish ignorant reasons.... I can't wait for you to choke on the mess you have made of things now. Yes, her lawyer is...

    what does this mean?

I thought you had a lawyer. Hasn't he gotten this stuff? He should be telling you what it is. Interrogatories are questions that you will/have receive(d) that you will need to answer and return to whomever sent them to you. Whether it be your ex or her lawyer. Oh, and if you aren't a lawyer...

I know that this one should be let to die, but I have to make a point that I noticed was not made. I'm not even sure if anyone else noticed.
