As far as I know when you're on parole you waive your right to not consent to a search. I think they're allowed to search you or your property at any time for any reason or no reason whatsoever. Hopefully your attorney will have better news for you. --MrStoner

I would definately fight this if I were you. Get your parents to hire you a private lawyer and make it real expensive for them: motions to suppress, depositions, discovery, etc. This is a chintzy bull**** charge and they will just drop it if they believe you are going to make it a real headache...
