I was given that advice on this forum actually. If you would like to private message me so we dont bore everyone with canadian stuff I have a couple questions i would like to ask but they are strictly concerning canada .

it has to be after the 90 days otherwise they will say you crossed the border with the intentions of getting married and staying.

CA I am in the same boat I came on Dec 12th for the holidays and stayed too to marry a US citizen am just getting all my paperwork together . I have been told as long as we have been here over 90 days and file the paperwork we can stay legally until we are processed.
