and I'm guessing you'd like to provide a few 'DETAILS' so that you can receive a relevant answer?

Like:

Is there a support order in place?
Is there a father?
When was the last contact?
What the hell are you talking about?
Who's buried in Grant's tomb?

i thought this was a forum to help people not a JOKE! You are a smart ass piece of **** and should not be allowed to be in this forum!

The original post was a joke...there was no information...why are you going off here?

There is no help where there is no information...
You go to a "normal chat room". Whatever that is...

jeesh.. go ahead and look at What BB does do when the information is there.

Again... It looks like I am BB's number one fan again...(while anyone who knows me knows Da Judge is my Fav) and Goodness knows BB does not need defending... he can do that himself... but it just ticks me off when these Newbies go off.... errrrrggg....
okay...gonna get some chocolate.... need to calm down.

Pretend you are a newbie for a moment and get the kind of response that BB sometimes gives. Its really not all that surprizing that many of them react the way that they do. I suspect that many of them have never been to a message board....EVER until they come to this one looking for help.

Now if they react that way to someone who has been polite, but gave them an answer they didn't like (and there are some that do)...then heck they deserve whatever they get. However I do think that BB (and another) are often a little over the top.

We often forget how many people who are looking for advice honestly know so little of what matters in family law....that they don't even know how to ask their questions, let alone what information they need to provide.

FINALLY someone who understands what it's like for us. And instead of getting the help we are looking for- we get stomped by angry people like in the beginning of this post.

Well be that as it may...

I see your point LdiJ
There should be a newbie beware sticky or something.

This one of BB's was not as bad as some... ( I thought it was funny.)
It was a very sparse post....BB helps a lot

I as a new poster would be sure to lurk around an look at some of the threads before posting.. (and I did believe me... I was here a while and still posted my first post with trepidation...but heck... nobody knows who I am.)
but that is just me.

And why get hurt feelings on an anonymous board is all... just me...

Anyway... just my opinion. :)

YOu two can defend stupidity all you want but go back to the ORIGINAL question and answer it.

and then come back here and defend your answer based on the LEGAL principles of abandonment when you have no idea what the circumstances are?

Sometimes the replies are as idiot as the questions

Why can't you understand that some people don't know all the info needed to get an answer? Why can't you just ask without being so rude? Why is that so hard for you to do? Or perhaps you were referring to your replies as being the idiot ones?

Then answer the question. What constitutes abandonment?

I'll be waiting.

Ok well, if I had more legal knowledge, like you apparently do, I would *nicely and politely* ask additional questions, realizing that the person who asked this vague question doesn't know that more is needed to answer the question properly.
Noting that you have over 7000 posts here, I get the impression that you are so hard and numb to the same thing asked over and over that feel you have to be rude and obnoxious. Maybe it's time you took a looooooong break?
