They certainly have the right to ask/demand that she stop seeing him... but that does not make it a law.
And if she doesn't 'obey' her parents, what is the EXACT criminal code or civil claim EXACTLY can she be 'charged' with??![]()
I never said it was a law. But parent do have legal rights toward their children until 18 or in some states 21, meaning they are responsible for them and for what they do. So if they don't her being with the 20 year old they can tell her that, if she disobey and goes and sees him. Granted they can't watch her 24/7, but until she 18 they are responsible for her. So for example if they want to get her away from him, they have the right to send her away to another state or move far away from him.
