I don't know about your state but I do know that in Arizona you can go online to a public access site and it shows you court records such as what was filed against so and so. Shoot it even has a record of a speeding ticket on there that I recieved back in 95 oy! lol Do a search online stating your state and court records or public access to court records.
Ok, help me put here! Just go to like MSN search and type Edgar (the county) court records

If there is a charge it depends. The site I gave you the link for after typing in Edgar county shows up a link to a site that has edgar county inmates. Now I do not know if they only show present inmates or past ones also. You may have to do more searching. I am sorry I do not have the time right now I am heading out to take my kids bowling. If you are still on when I get back then sure I would be happy to help u

Back from bowling? I haven't had much luck in finding a site that provides criminal records for free.

And Smurf AZ does not require that you have a Judges "permission" neccesarily. It just requires that you notify in writing the courts as well as the other parent. Now if the other parent contest the move then yes a court date is set and you go before a judge. While a lot of times the other parent does not consent to the move they do not respond to the letter thru the courts so technically you could move with out the other parents consent or a judges approval. :D

AND for doing so you can lose rights as a CP. And I have been through it. She moved he contested and the judge went from supervised EOW to 50/50 visitation citing her moving as the reason. AND the parent moving has to PROVE a list of requirements to keep the child with them where they moved to or the judge CAN order the child be returned. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE. The notify in writing is SUPPOSE to be 60 (could be 30 I forget) days before the move so the the other parent can object if the other parent does not object that is considered permission if the parent does then the Court has to ok the move hence give permission.

and I have been through it as well in fact I just moved this last month from Arizona where the court order was. I was just clarifying that unless the NCP objects to the courts that you will not have to go to court for it. Yes if they object and file a response through the court you will have to go to court. But lets face it there are a lot of people out there who will say "No I dont want you to take the kids out of state" but then not file a response through the courts for any number of poor reasons. Then they will say I didnt give you permission to take my kids out of state. I have seen it happen to many times. Now in my case my ex husband agreed to the move but I still notified the courts and him in writing 60 days in advance just to be on the safe legal side. I was just clarifying not arguing which is why the :D face was put there.

To the poster....
I am sorry I did not get a chance to look that up for you last night it was crazy around here lol but I am glad to see that you found the information you were looking for

Thanks for your expert, or rather non expert opinion, Casa.

I don't conform for many reasons. You don't know the entire situation, nor will you ever.

Don't judge me based on a few paragraphs because you will be wrong with every statement you make. Give your advice, if it matters, and hope it does some people some sort of good. Otherwise, you might be better served doing nothing at all...which is probably what you do for your children anyway.

Gator...you are just digging yourself a deeper and deeper hole. If you are at the point where the court is recommending jail then you have messed up YOUR life and your child's. However you aren't going to listen to me or anyone else..you have made up your mind. I just hope that 30 years from now you aren't still suffering the consequences of your stubborness now...and finally realizing then how foolish a choice you made.

Re: Altering Transportation

LdiJ,

Just because one doesn't conform to the laws created by idiots at times, that doesn't mean he/she is in the wrong. Yes it adds to the animosity of the situation however, if the same person conforms and does what is morally wrong for years then how does that make things right?

What we have been taught (brainwashed with) since birth is to conform and do what we are told even if we feel it is wrong. There are human rights and other rights afforded to us that are being manipulated every day to allow other groups of people to do as they wish. I am not for that.

In the situation of a father, who has been proven not to be the father of a particular child, where he has been forced to pay child support even though the child is not his. Then, when they finally relieve him of that burden. All they can say is sorry, we made a mistake.

What about those fathers who are falsely accused of child abuse/molestation of their children, and run through the system and jailed and caused to lose everything...then it is found that mom lied...nothing happens to mom and dad is still ruined for life. Is that right? Should these people conform also?

Point is...my ex kidnapped my son without reason...the court is backing her no matter how she gained custody and because I don't have the money to fight it currently. I am not going to pay into the extortion. My son knows. I do not lie to him. I do not badmouth his mother but I do not lie to him about anything. He asks a question; I tell him the truth. It's that simple.

We will see how those responsible for the wrong doings will deal with the mass lawsuits in all states right now against the states and the CP's across the nation. It will come out. In due time. Rest assured.
