What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? illinois. Hello! I have previously had a j-1 visa, now i have visitor visa for 10 years. While i was visiting my boyfriend who currently is living in illinois, he’s in military, we got married and i went back to my country a week later. We have a son who was born in romania and now we are working to get his american citizenship, when our son will have the american passport i plan on going back to usa with him. Do i have to fill any papers before going back or i can use the visa that i already have? if yes, can you please let me know what do we have to do. Thank you in advance!

If you are planning to simply visit your husband and son, but intend to depart within the six months permissible, then nothing you've mentioned (in this thread) would prevent you from entering on a non-immigrant B1/B2 visa.
If you intend to remain in the United States, you must obtain an immigrant visa.
we were not in really good terms at that point and later i found out he has depression and started therapy and takes pills.. We wanted to see how things are between us when we are together in person and not miles away, but nothing changed.. so after long discussions we decided that getting married would be the best for us

Well, if she's only with him in small doses... less than 6 months at a time... maybe she'll be able to stand him.
After all, it's not as though she's asking about filing an I-130, etc.
