What is the name of your state? OR

If I filed chapter 7, and all the debt is dischargeable except for $15,000 in credit card debt (which is objected), can the discharge still go through?

If so, after the discharge, would you make a deal with the three credit card companies to pay an amount each month until the debt is paid off?

I know there is no payment plan with a chapter 7, but didn't know how you would pay the undischargeable debt when you obviously would not have that much money available.

Yes, the rest of your debts would likely be discharged.

You would have to make some arrangements to pay the non-discharged portion.. or, they'll just sue you for it post-discharge.

Is it uncommon to have the non-discharged debt be made in monthly payments with the creditor? Or do they normally want all the non-discharged debt paid at once?
