Well I have used it many times and never had a problem with it. And also FARMERS use it too on crops. It's not like that stuff with bombing is safe either, it also has chemicals in it and the same warning label. Besides, she is not staying at the house right now anyway. That was another point behind using it. I know plenty of others who have used it too and never had a problem with it either. It's not like the whole bag needs to be used. I'm sure there are plenty of products in people's houses that have the same warning labels. I have spray for ants that says the same thing.

Can we get off this crap about the dog already and stop with all the opinions and judgments? It's nice to know everyone else is so damn perfect! Damn if no one can contribute anything legal why not move on?

He needs to grow up and obviously cannot take care of his DOG....how do you think he will ever take care of his child?

This is an excellent point. I'm sure you aren't implying that it would have the same meaning if you had read the posts about the mother of the child taking on a dog that she was too busy to care for, but thinks that she's a great doggy-mommy just because the dog likes people in spite of it's complete lack of socialization.

Honestly, it doesn't sound like dad is a horrible person. At least, it doesn't sound as if his behavior has changed all that much since she conceived the child with him, and obviously, she thought he was good enough to father the child at the time.

And ya know what? You're kidding yourself if you think a judge or decent attorney isn't going to ask you why, all of a sudden, you want to move him from 'father' to 'sperm donor'.

How about he chose drugs over his girlfriend and child? She gave him an ultimatum and he made his choice.

'Cept she also knew there was alleged drug use around the time (before?) the child was conceived. Personally speaking, I'm not sure that either of these folks would win "Parent of the Year" awards. I feel sorry for the kid.

It's only allegations re MJ, she found papers and a pipe no drugs. She invited him to live with her to help her with her bills than got pregnant, he had the dog already and she already has a rott in the back yard, it may not be safe to put the two dogs together outside. She did not treeat the fleas, the house or outside, she is as much the reason the house is flea infested as any one, for all we know the house was infested with flease when his dog arrived.

I feel sorry for this child also.

Yeah, I agree with that on what you guys said. Definitley a lot of stuff that needs to be worked out and worked on!

I think I'd be tellin the judge "Um Your Honor, (or whoever) I've been a blind dumbass that made a lot of mistakes but I'm trying to fix that now." LMAO Not really but you know what I mean. :D

Sorry, my sugar is messing with me right now and stressed out and I'm in a mood. Probably not the best time to try to be answering posts.

It sounds to me like the guy is just threathening you because he probably has no where else to go. It doesn't appear that he cares much for the baby unless he's using him as threat. The dog is just a means for him to keep the animosity going. As long as there's this foolish argument, he doesn't have to deal with the reality that he has a son! And something of a relationship, now. No more just being cozy roommates.
I think he's totally immature. And totally dependant on you and you are threatening his way of life.

GO over to the house with a video camera a video tape the drugs laying around the house.

Which would only prove (if it was admissable) that there are/were drugs in 'her' house- but not when they are/were there, or WHO had them there.

As far as the dogs getting along they do wonderfully. The English bulldog came to live with us when Harley was just a pup and they are the best of friends. As for the fleas Amos did not have them when he came to my house. He did not even have them at the time Josh's mother was supposed to reclaim her dog. Josh sent him to his brothers house for awhile because my father had needed to stay at my house a few weeks and the dog doesnt like alot of people around, he (the dog) is old and grumpy and he has tried to bite me several times. Anyhow, when he came back from Josh's brothers house he had fleas not before that and we did try to treat them during my pregnancy, the dog and the house we even thought they were gone but still kept spraying this stuff that we got from Lowe's for indoors and outdoors to make sure every week. However, in the last month of my pregnancy the doctor advised us to stop spraying the stuff. We thought they were gone until we brought the baby home, he was born at 38wks instead of 40, so within 2 weeks they were back and the doctor told me I was better off putting the dog outside, having the house bombed and staying elsewhere until the fleas had been controlled and leaving the dog outside, not just because of the fleas but because of his temper as well. And no I can not be blamed for his temper he was 8 yrs old when Josh moved in with me and he is 9 now.

As far as drugs go I have never actually seen him do drugs I only know of the charge againist him for supposedly giving his then 11 yr old nephew pot. He denied doing drugs and I told him that I never wanted to see drugs or anything related to drugs because I went through that with my father who is recovering and has been clean 1 yr and 9 mos.

I'm kind of tired about talking about the dog (LOL) but I'll go ahead and mention real quick. You can also go to the vet and get Adam's flea and tick mist to spray on him. It seems to work ok for the most part.
