Update

I was trying to patch things up with my sons father and he was going to put his dog outside as soon as he got a fence up, and we were going home once the house was bombed and cleaned. He started on the fence and got mad and instead of asking for the help my father had offered he moved out, I went by to let him see the baby and he was gone I called and he said he was just fed up that he would come see the baby when he got his car legalized which could be awhile because he is 5 weeks behind on his child support for his older son. Anyways I just wanted to say thank you for the advice I was given and I agree I am most likely having the baby blues because even though I got what I had been asking for my heart is broken and I wish he'd come back home, I even went and fixed the fence myself.

This is now the heatbroken moms thread... but if you look and lonelyandsad's profile... You might have a lot to talk about.
You are just about identical.

Why didn't you tell us about needing a fence up to put his dog outside, in the first place. It is your house and your responsibility to fix the fence. You have a Rott in an unfenced yard or one with a fence that requires repair? While the Rott may be alright, your neighbors may not. I'm not sure that child is safe with you.

Well you got what you wanted. No extra charge for the fleas. You have adversely affected how many lives now? :(

Not entirely correct. It depends on how the dog was raised. I never met a nasty rott. Pitt bulls are the same. Those little ankle biters have a complex though. I had more trouble with them when I was a paper carrier than ever I did with a rott or a pit.

OY! I cannot stand when this stereotype happens to these poor dogs..

I have a doberman myself... and the predjudice that he gets is amazing and he is even nicer than my little rat terrier mutt girl...

He wouldn't hurt a fly...

(Congrats on the New baby Lopez... I go in July... VEGAS BABY!)

You need to read the whole thread without jumping to conclusions, the Rott is HER dog not the dog she is complaining about. The Rott doesn't come in the house because she doesn't have enough time to care for it or train it. Please don't assume. Rotts can and often are very good with children and have wonderful temperments, they are the 3rd most populat breed of dog, no, everyone is not afraid.
