I have only stated the same thing in my posts I have written. Everything I have written is the truth. I am not bi-polar. I said earlier that it is one of the accusations my husband had told his attorney. And that I go out to drink after work everynight. I have since given my attorney a letter from my Dr stating that I have epilepsie and have had it since i was 15 months old. I take Zonagran and have not had a seizure for over 2 years. He also stated in the letter I am not bi-polar. I have also asked my husband why he told his attorney that and his response was....you lie to your attorney..so I am going to lie about you to mine. As far as drinking. I can not drink with my medication. Why is that hard to understand.
As far as going 3 months without a visitation order. We just went to court on Dec 13 for the visitation hearing. That is when the order was signed.
The child protective services had come out and talked to me and to him. They listened to the recording and also had her supervisor listen to it. It was concerning enough for her to give it to the Sheriffs office to evaluate. When the judge signed the order, he was told about the investigation by my attorney. But since there was no paperwork yet, he said the child protective services know the proper channels to take if they feel the need. When the investigation is complete. Because of holidays....the Detective has not been able to get ahold of the child protective services person that is dealing with this case. But she will tell her that while there is a concern and it isnt normal for him to have these thoughts. There is nothing criminal.
Yes, this is very confusing. And it is a nightmare. And the Detective said if something does happen to my daughter, she will be the first to go after him. So I am afraid I am going to have to settle for that and hope nothing ever happens. And for those of you who ask, why do I give her to him if i am afraid for her, I HAVE NO CHOICE.....He hasnt done anything yet. I guess this all sounds so bizarre to all of you, try living it.
CPS has nothing to work from just your unsubstantiated claims.
You just opened up a different can of worms here re your medication, if and or when your STBX accused you of being bi-polar. As you well know if your have had seizures since you were 15 months old you should know by now how to spell the word, Epilepsy. Just because you are taking your medication now doens't mean that you have always been complient or your behaviors, appropriate.
You should also know the contraindications for that medication Zonisamide, the following should be considered:
Pregnancy—Zonisamide has not been studied in pregnant women. However, studies in animals have shown that zonisamide causes birth defects and other serious problems with the pregnancy. Before taking this medicine, make sure your doctor knows if you are pregnant or if you may become pregnant. (Were some of his observations based upon times when you were not on the medication?)
Breast-feeding—Zonisamide has been shown to pass into breast milk. However, it is not known whether this medicine causes problems in nursing babies. Mothers who are taking zonisamide and who wish to breast-feed should discuss this with their doctor.
Children— Safety and efficacy have not been established in children who are under 16 years of age and is not approved for use.Studies in children have shown that some children are at higher risk for oligohidrosis (decreased sweating) and hyperthermia (unusually high body temperature), especially in warm or hot weather. This can sometimes result in heat stroke and hospitalization.
Other medicines—Although certain medicines should not be used together at all, in other cases two different medicines may be used together even if an interaction might occur. In these cases, your doctor may want to change the dose, or other precautions may be necessary. When you are taking zonisamide, it is especially important that your doctor and pharmacist know if you are taking any of the following:
* Alcohol or
* Carbamazepine [e.g. Tegretol]) or
* Phenobarbital [e.g. Barbita or Mysoline] or
* Phenytoin [e.g. Dilantin] or
* Valproate [e.g. Depakote]—Taking any of these medicines with zonisamide may decrease the amount of zonisamide in the blood, causing an decrease in effectiveness, and a possible increase in seizure frequency
* Anticholinergics (medicine for abdominal or stomach spasms or cramps or drying up a runny nose) or
* Acetazolamide [e.g., Diamox] or
* Dichlorphenamide [e.g., Daranide] or
* Methazolamide [e.g., Neptazane]—Side effects of zonisamide, such as dryness of mouth or heat intolerance, may be more likely to occur
* Central nervous system depressants (medicines that cause drowsiness)—Using these medicines or alcohol with zonisamide may cause increased drowsiness
Other medical problems—The presence of other medical problems may affect the use of zonisamide.
This medicine will add to the effects of alcohol and other CNS depressants (medicines that make you drowsy or less alert). Some examples of CNS depressants are antihistamines or medicine for hay fever, other allergies, or colds; prescription pain medicines, or sleep medicines. Do not take other medicines unless they have been discussed with your doctor. This especially includes nonprescription medicines for appetite control, asthma, colds, cough, hay fever, or sinus problems.
Use effective birth control methods to prevent pregnancy if you are sexually active and able to become pregnant.
Thus, his claims re you and your competence, have some validity, especially since you admit that you have had this since 15 months and certainally during pregnancy and breastfeeding and that you most likely were, if following your doctor's instructions not taking the medication during preconception/pregnancy/breastfeeding(if you BF) and during such times you may in fact disply behaviors typical of bipolar disorder, furthermore, several other disorders may also respond to these Rx and you would display those signs of psychological disorder whether or not you realize it or whether or not you have bi-polar disorder. Frankly, your posts lack credibility and demonstrate a thought disorder, even though you may think otherwise.
