What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Mississippi
This past year I left my huisband, and became involved with another man. During the time I was involved with this man, I became pregnant. In the course of the relationship I learned that this man has a mental disorder, violent tendancies, and a drug abuse problem. While I was still pregnant I left him and moved back home to my mothers. Also since leaving him my husband and I have reconciled and he wishes to raise my child as his own. My husbands name is on the birth certificate due to state law requiring that it be that way since we were and are still married. Where the problem comes in is that the other man is using my child to hold on to me, and won't bow out. What are the chances of him obtaining visitation? Or is my husband the presumed father no matter what? (Please also consider this mans history when giving advice) ...Any light that can be shed on this situation is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
