Jbudden...I'm sorry your wife left you when you became disabled because she thought things were going to get tough. Of course things were going to change and get a little tougher. But that is no reason to leave someone you love. Maybe this is off key...but good riddance to a wife like that, you don't need someone like that in your life. As you stated in your post, your wife knew you were injured and left the child with you all the time to go to work. So that's your defense if she pulls anything in court about supervised visitations. You sound like a good dad, and a loving one. I don't know too much about modifying CS...so I can't help you there. I just wanted to sent out some moral support your way. I commend you for paying the CS, and for having a relationship with your daughter...that is more important than any amount of money. I wish you the best and hope things work out for you. Has anyone considered....

that due to the NCP's disability the child may well be entitled to, and receiving SSDI benefits ?? IF so, the NCP is entitled to a credit for benefits received by the CP on behalf of the child.
