What if...

In this type of situation the single person pursues the married person... I.e. Sends texts, emails, im... Not just during work hours, but weekends, late at night, early (330am) in morning...
Would there be cause for a change then?

What if that single party offered up having strong feelings for the other and wanting to see where those feelings lead them... Married party starts to entertain the notion and admits some feelings as well, but then backs off and wants it to stop... If the single party continues and pursues the married party, what then?

Shouldn't the employer separate them?

If the employer is notified and shown texts/emails that are inappropriate and does nothing wouldn't that put them in position for some liability if harassment ensued down the road???

I ask as someone facing this situation currently and not sure how to proceed...

This thread is from 2008 and belongs to someone else. Please start your own thread and give the name of your US state. Thanks.

(But if you want to know what I think right now, it's not the company's job to keep your pants ON. That's YOUR job.)

You start your OWN thread instead of necroposting to a thread that's SEVEN years old.

This forum does not appreciate necroposting, nor does it appreciate thread hijacking.

When you start your own thread, please answer the first question: What US state?
