Living in FL with no power is very different from living in MY without power - in a snow storm!

Go Blue!

Happy Wednesday - for me yesterday was "hump" day. Morning all!

Know what you mean...we had an ice storm a couple of years ago and had no power for 5 days. Played a lot of scrabble by the fireplace light. That Spring we bought a generator...used it a couple of time already!

Ecmst12...it hasn't been as cold as originally predicted in the Baltimore/DC area. Have you been able to keep relatively warm in Philly?

Have a good Wednesday!

Yup doing ok so far...just hoping for no snow until after Halloween this year!

Halloween!?! Noooooo! I vote for no snow until Christmas Eve, and even then it's for effect purposes only. After that, I'm ready for Spring! I think I may be the poster child for SAD.

The weather is supposed to stay warmer than usual through the weekend!

Heh, well that would be nice but I'm a realist! If the snow and sub-freezing temperatures can hold off until I have heat, I'll be satisfied. But I have no love for cold weather...if I didn't love this city so much, I'd definitely want to move someplace tropical!

We're supposed to get down into the low 50s tonight! Brrrrr, where are my shirts with sleeves?

Our flood waters from Monday have subsided and the used car lots are full of great deals! Come on down!

My daughter is at school in North Texas where they could use a little of your rain. We spent last Thanksgiving down there and it was in the 80's! I could really get used to that.

Hope you guys dry out soon.

Happy Wednesday to you too - & everyone else. Yes, Wed. is hump day. Wed. is often referred to as "hump day" because of its position as the middle day of the work week. If the work week were a hill, then Wed. would be the crest. It is all down hill from there. However, whether the down hill ride is a coast or a descent into a swamp is left to the individual.
lealea1005 - thanks for the good luck to the Cardinals.

My middle of the work week is Tuesday. Therefore, tomorrow is my Friday. And the next 2 days are my off day.

Ok, so what you are saying is: Sun. is your Mon., Mon. is your Tues., Tues. is your Wed. (hump day), Wed. is your Thurs., Thurs. is your Fri., Fri. is your Sat. & Sat. is your Sun. (However, I don't think you can legally change the days of the week like that.) :D

We caught the north end of that same system and only got 4.5 inches of rain. However, being in the Great Piney Woods of East Texas, the water simply soaks in the sand without flooding. I just checked the radar - it looks like you got clipped again.

I ran the VIN through the Texas Flood Damaged Vehicles database before I bought a used Land Cruiser earlier this year. I didn't want one of those unadvertised specials.

Floods to the south, snow to the north. Think I'll stay right where I am.
