Neither do I. I think it should be legalized, regulated and taxed...just like tobacco and alcohol. Not only would it put a huge amount of criminals out of business, but it would add to the tax revenue.

Yup!! War drugs is lost and useless. Spend the 500 billion a year on better education GOOD and PRODUCTIVE rehab and better Social Services. Take away the need to self-medicate. I never heard of a 7 yo saying "I want to grow up to be aa crack head!!"...Poverty, ignorance and despair cause, for the most part, addiction. This my humble and likely unpopular, opinion.
