My husband was on probation and in November 2004 his agent told him that his probation was being closed. In February 2005 he was arrested for purchasing marijuana. He had two bags of it on him. He was released on his own recognition. In March he received a letter from his PO officer stating that he failed to appear for his visits and he also failed to report the arrest. He was told to pay a $100 fine. He payed the fine but was told in October that there was a warrant out for his arrest. He turned himself in on Nov. 1 and he's still there because we don't have the money to bail him out. His bail was $50,000. He goes to court on Dec.1. What are the chances of him being released? Is it possible to make some sort of bargain such as extended probation or house arrest?
