What is the name of your state? Texas
I am trying to secure my incoming home phone records for the month of April 2006. I have since changed phone companies. Do I have the right to these records upon paying a reasonable fee? The phone company has told me that I would need a subpoena to get them. I am not currently involved in litigation. The records are of extreme importance because an investigator with a State Agency claims to have called and conducted a phone interview that just simply never occurred. I want my incoming phone records to prove the call never took place. How would I go about getting a subpoena or what do I need to do to get the records? Thank you.
