The point here is that nothing was done ILLEGALLY. Anybody can file a CPS report... INCLUDING the GF. Anybody can take the child to the doctor (wheather innapropriate or not) .... UNLESS mom has in writing that dad cannot leave the child in the care of the GF. The father has the right to aske GF to do it. Maybe he had to work that day so he asked GF to take her.... there are countless possibilities that don't point towards lazyness.

The point that I am trying to make is that OP really seems to be digging here. Nothing dad did was illegal. The claim is not a false alligation (as in they knew it was false but tried to alligate it anyways) because it is likely that dad will claim in court that they thought it to be true and wanted it investigated. They are legally protected to be able to have it investigated if they want. Just because it was false doesn't mean that they did not think that the abuse was really occuring. I didn't get the impression that OP has even talked to dad about a lot of this. It seems to me that she is the type that will only call when she wants something. Whether I am wrong or not the point here is that nothing was illegal.... as in she won't get very far in court with any of it. If she really wants to spend the hundreds of dollars to take him to court for the lack of medicine she can but at the most he will get a slap on the wrist.

Also... dannysmyboy even though it might suck for the accused parent that they had an investigation it sucks even more for dads like me that are scared to even have the abuse investigated because they are afraid that if it comes back false that the mom will use the "false allegation" claim in court (and my kids flat out admitted that their step-dad was beating them but the step-dad scared them into keeping their mouth shut)

I don't think it was ever established whether or not the girlfriend took the kid by themself, just that the girlfriend was there, and supposedly filled out the paperwork, which is also not a big deal if dad is not big on writing for whatever reason.....
