I am an idiot computer worker, who has a full time job and work mostly from home.
I wish just like you, to get a real job, so i can get up everyday go an actual business and have more of a normal life.
yes damn it since 9/11 everything got really screwed up in NYC, our unemployment rate is amazing, even for part time jobs companies get 200 resumes..
Yes i am offensive and rude, and give people tough love, but sometimes in life its needed
I tell people to learn to sell stuff on ebay..well there have been a few months since 9/11 i paid my rent from the money i got for selling my things on ebay, so i know it works!
I tell everyone to treasure a good landlord, heaven knows i have one that i love just like my father, so i an never going to be late with the rent or piss this one off...i got a great deal...and i know it.
I also preach about family values, well damn isnt that important anymore? When you are in financial trouble who should bail you out??? the landlord?
So maybe i should be nicer, and kinder, but will that actually help?

He can stay if:
His replies are right, kind and necessary. Preaching about birth control and other PERSONAL lifestyle choices are not required when someone asks about a notice to vacate.
He backs up his BS with state specific statutes.
He stops assuming facts not presented.
He realizes that his way isn't the only way...nor is it always the right way.
He stop kicking people when they are down. Posters are here for help and often his reply/advice is not helpful in any way.
Since I am a self-appointed queen, I'd require strict adherence to my rules and it's doubtful he'd follow them so I guess he's outta here!

My vote is let him stay. I am a frequent reader, but I don’t post very often; I don’t know enough to. I find him amusing and he adds some color to the website, things just wouldn’t be the same without him. I also like the responses he gets, and I think most all are deserved.
I have my doubts that he is constituently able to do what queenofsand suggests. His brain just doesn’t seem to work that way. I suspect that if her criteria are applied he would be gone soon. Maybe it is good to keep kicking him off, and letting him come back. I kind of enjoy trying to figure out if a new name is actually him.
I do see one big downside to having him. People who are new to the website and really need help can be offended and put off by him, or worse misled. You have to read through a lot of threads to begin to understand his niche here. Maybe a warning could be posted.

** Yes, the responses he gets are interesting. But, the time that it takes to continually undo his damage due to his inflammatory, inane, derogatory and most often flat-out-wrong responses, just isn't worth it. Both in the time it takes to do the responses,and the time it takes away from those who are looking for correct replies.
At this point, his ISP addresses are being monitored and, due to his continual harassment of the forum, those ISP's will be blocked. And that could deprive others from accessing the forum.... solely due to HIS violations.
