well buddy boy, keep this up and you won't be here long. You may not know it but you just pissed on the one person who can see you gone...and no, I'm not talking about me. I personally don't think you are worth fretting about.

You see, I know for a fact you don't know your ass from a law book or a state statute, as you proved in another post about liens in Arkansas.

Now, if you're through playing at knowing the law, perhaps you'd like to learn a few things, like how to read without making an ass of yourself.

Hex you sorry speciman: You know for a fact... actually you don't know jack. Sorry, the tough talk doesn't impress me... doesn't intimidate me either.

You were pissed when you started this thread... you're still pissed. So, what else is new. Contrary to your assertions, It seems that the real source of your resentment it that you want to be the final authority. While I don't profess to offer anything other than my opinion, you seem to be intolerant of the opinions of others, irrespective of the origin.

Sure, the rest of the world need not respond... Hex is the final authority on damn near any topic. Little full of yourself are you?

Sorry Hex, I stand firmly behind my prior comments. You need to grow up, get a life, and quit your bitching.

Well I agree with you on one thing, you don't know anything about the law so all you have to offer is your opinion.

Wait, isn't this a LEGAL forum? Well imagine that. This isn't dear abbey or let every idiot voice their opinion. It's A LEGAL FORUM. What part of that don't you understand.

So, if you don't know the specific statute reference, the prevailing jurisdictional decision or anything else about the law except how to spell the word, go find an OPINION forum.

You are a waste of time.

Hex, you sorry specimen:

If you knew anything about the law, you would probably be a little more tolerant of other viewpoints. Most attorneys will at least consider the opposing viewpoint before dismissing it. At least the smarter attorneys will.

You haven't said whether you practice law. Based upon what I have read so far, I doubt that you do. You mentioned the thread about the Arkansas lien question to which you quoted the statute. I don't think you answered the question. Go back and read the entire thread... you may learn something. By the way, any lawyer can tell you what the law says. The better lawyer will tell you what the law doesn't say. Again, I doubt you will understand.

Oh yeah; I thought you were going to get me thrown off this forum. Sorry, this isn't TV wrestling. It is a forum for the exchange of information and opinions. Unless you are a true FKIA, you need to be a little more tolerant.

Again, I stand firmly behind my prior comments. You need to grow up, get a life, and quit your bitching. I will accept you apology if and when you grow up.

You're funny. I guess you know all about what lawyers do from watching them on Television....

By the way genius, an attorney's job is to defend his/her client to the best of their ability within the statutes of the state wherein they are licensed.

It's the legislature's job to write the laws and the courts to interpret them.

Ask your civics teacher tomorrow to explain it to you. After P.E. that is.

By the way genius, yes, I quoted the statute. Know why? Because it's the LAW. Well I guess that's a big DUH!

i think people have missed the point of hexes post to start with which is that when you have really really long sentences that just keep going into infinity and beyond it gets really hard to keep up with what the poster is saying and makes it even tougher to give them the correct answer when we cant even decipher what it is they are trying to ask us in the first place because they just keep switching from one subject to the next and then expect us to know what it was they were coming here to ask to begin with when they cant even keep their train of thought on the right track but yet they expect us to do it and be able to read and form a response to what they wanted to ask but didnt quite get around to and then when you have those that stert speylin lyke thiis it jest got eben werse becuz we gots 2 set and tri to reed tardese n thet waaste evn mor tyme n lotsa us gits frustraytd n jest stop eben tyiing 2 reed them thangs whin we cold hav ben the 1 2 giv thym the anser they nedded.

Honestly, people. Is it too much to ask to use a period, or comma, or question mark to differentiate between your statements and/or sentences? If you can't spell the best in the world, that's understandable. I make typos myself and mis-spell a word every so often. No one is perfect. Even IAAL, BCB, and yes, even hex, have had typos, mis-spellings and such. (I think I forgot a comma there too. Oh well.) Make it to where people can actually read it, understand it, and help you. Isn't that what you came here for in the first place?

Hex, you sorry specimen:

You haven't said where you practice law. Has any state issued you a license to practice. I think at this point, others are anxious to learn as well.

Sorry, don't watch much television at all. No courtroom dramas. Can't even remember one that provided a reasonalby accurate portrayal of the practice of law.

Remember, You need to grow up, get a life, and quit your bitching.

The people who matter on this forum know my history....way more than you'll ever know.

As for you, well, keep showing your ignorance and I'll keep smiling. You are funny ...did I tell you that already?

Hex, you sorry specimen:

The people that matter... Who are they? The ones that buy into your B.S.

You seem to thrive on name calling, intimidation, etc. Try answering a direct question. Which states, if any, have licensed you to practice law?

As soon as you answer the question which Arkansas state statute states that anyone other than the general contractor can place a lien on a home....

Or, I'll even make it easy on you. Just cite the Arkansas State Statute that allows a mechanic's lien to be placed on a home...

Or, even easier, ANY STATE that allows a mechanic's lien to be placed on a home....

I'm still waiting :D

Tell you what....I'll even make it easier on you. I'm going to bed because frankly, you're starting to bore me....

I'll check back tomorrow after you've had your discussion with your civics teacher and learn why you can't find any statute, law or legal opinion that supports your assinine assumption.

Hex, you sorry specimen:

I have asked you to answer a direct question. Which states, if any, have licensed you to practice law?

To the rest of the forum. I think we know the answer to this question. Hex apparently refuses to respond. Probably because he just can't remember all of the states that have licensed him.

I apologize to the rest of you for this exchange. I have no problem with anyone expressing their opinion, even Hex. However, adding statements such as "Anyone who thinks differently is an idiot..." or "You would have to be a moron to believe that..." does little bu foreclose further discussion. Oddly enough, it is usually the least educated and most opinionated persons that engage in such tactics. I will go back to my original statement on this thread. If anyone cannot tolerate my less than perfect grammar, spelling or typing, you are free to ignore my posts. Thank you and good night.

My response:

Gotocourt, I haven't had any axes to grind with you - - up to this point. I believe Hex was referring to me when he made mention that your time could, in fact, be involuntarily limited here at FreeAdvice.

You have stated the above phrase 3 or more times already. Therefore, if you state it, or anything similar to it, again on FreeAdvice, be it known that it will be your last.

IAAL:

I don't understand what you mean by "it".

As far as an axe to grind, you and I have already had a go around regarding the person who was cited for allegedly cutting through the mall parking lot. You inferred that somehow your 3.5 years of experience qualifies you to judge people without knowing either the facts or the law. Sorry, I disagree.

As far as Hex is concerned, if you follow the thread back a ways, you will see that Hex started the name calling. But then again, maybe Hex has a special exemption. He seems to treat everyone with the same disdain.

If this is your personal forum and wish to exclude me, you may do so. I haven't been terribly impressed with anything you have said (or done) so far. It really makes no difference to me.

If I remain on the forum, I will express my opinions. I will treat each person with the same courtesy and dignity with which they choose to approach me. If my position is unacceptable, you may as well close the forum and spend your money on advertising.
