Well geeze i have to get my 2 cents in here.

You can not withhold child support if you are denied visitation [ quote ]

If the visitations are denied over a period of time or the other parent willingly moves or hides the children interfering with visitation rights, the party being denied can Petition for the child support payments be suspended during the time of the interference .

I feel better now that i have added that !! :D

I have a friend who did that. He still had to make the CS payments but they went into an escrow account set up by the court instead of to the mother.

This was a very clever judge....the mother had to purge herself of the contempt...and then only got the back money doled out in installments pending her good behavior...with the continued threat that future CS would start going back into the escrow account if she didn't behave...it really worked.

LdiJ....

When you're going to "add information" to a post of mine, that's all fine and dandy.

However... when you're responding to what SOMEONE ELSE SAID, please don't attribute to me if I didn't say it, mmmkay?

From your last post on the first page:

I didn't say either one of those things.... kidoday did. You got the first quote by her correct, and attributed it to her. However, the other 2 quotes in your post, you typed in MY name... and I didn't say them.

You're just used to butting heads with me, aren't ya? :D

In sincerely apologize for that. I never intended to attribute quotes to you that weren't yours....I am still getting the "hang" of making the "quote" system work correctly on this board....I tend to copy and paste the phrases needed to make the quotes work and obviously I truly screwed it up there.

Again, I apologize sincerely. Believe it or not I agreed wholeheartedly with everything that you wrote...and just wanted to add a couple of additions/clarifications....and wasn't "butting heads" at all.
