Steve Madden is a shoe designer. Steve is the husband to Johns ex, who is filing for contempt, when the ex wouldn't let child go to the fashion event on his visitation time....Kidding.

Just how much do these Steve Maddens cost?

I just called my wife and asked her if she knew who Steve Madden was, and she was like, "Duh. Go look in my closet."

I found 5 pairs of shoes with this guy's name on them.

She might be in sooooo much trouble.

Wow, I thought my daughter had no fashion sense. I have NO idea what you guys are talking about. I HATE shoes. I prefer to be barefoot or wear sandals. I really should think about moving away from the Buffalo area. I like jeans and sweatshirts/T-shirts. I think a got a couple dresses for fancy things....somewhere....

OK, I picture you as being in your early to mid 40s. Medium length brown hair, starting to go a little gray.

Whenever I read your posts, I picture you in a huge office, with a beautiful executive desk and really comfy big leather chair.

I see you as one who wears a no-nonsense dark pinstripe skirt suit, dark pantyhose, and no-nonsense black pumps.

I can just see you looking at your screen is disgust, as you push your oh-so-classy small famed glasses back up your nose.

I think OG is the lady she mentioned in another post about a lady who works from home and she made us guess what her occupation was.

The only reason to spend lots of money on shoes is to get a good pair that will be kind to my feet all day (think New Balance). Other than that, I think a $40 pair of shoes is something to be shocked about! (Yeah, okay, I did spend $25 on a particularly cute pair of Dr. Scholl sandals the other day at Wal-Mart....)

Regarding the smoking...I think this is the same situation posted recently, was there an ad lib suggestion of buying dad a air purifyer or something for fathers day? Something along those lines anyway. I think thats a great idea!

He may or may not be smoking around the kids...it would bother me if I weren't sure, and its not something you want to be interrogating the kids about and something you really have no way of knowing, much less enforcing...alas the air purifyer, however the heck its spelled, would help!!!!

Gets the job done and there's no fuss/no muss/no accusations.

I was brainwashed!!! My ex (not the kid's dad) HATES to see women in jeans and tennis shoes or ponytails. Dated him almost 5 years and almost NEVER put my hair up because I would just about see him everyday. I got so used to getting "dressed" everyday, that it just became natural and jeans and t-shirts/sweatshirts or sweats and tennis shoes are for cleaning the house, laundry and grocery shopping.
