so can we file a deduction for the tax year since hse is using my family insurance

You can't have your cake and eat it too.

I'm really starting to think you are a troll, because...well, just because (if I said what I was really thinking, the forum gods would ban me).

LOOK at the claims that have come to your house. The doctor info IS on them. Although, just because YOU provide the insurance doesn't mean you have any right to the doctor information. Your husband does, but you absolutely DO NOT.

we, we, we, we... You are obviously not paying attention or are really a troll.

Are they BILLS from the doctor or are they EOBs from the insurance company? An EOB doesn't require payment from dad; it's just letting him know what was covered and what he is responsible for. Dad may have received a BILL from the doctor's office because he is partially responsible for payment of services.

I'm still anxious to hear why you would put the children on your insurance without any intent to let them USE it. I have my stepdaughter on my insurance and provide mom with the card every time I get one. Does Dad have insurance? Who is court ordered to provide insurance?

This is all very confusing to me!

It is only confusing to you because you are not selfish. The OP has ulterior motives here, and the sooner she realizes that she came into this marriage AFTER his child, the better off she will be.

i'm actually appalled a littled at the OP. she's been here longer. it's not liked she logged on just yesterday.

i'm flabbergasted.

not a troll...im just upset that claims have been coming to our house from his child's doctor visits...and if we are going to pay these claims..we should at least know who the child's doctor is..you think?

Question... How come it is OK for you to withhold the insurance information from the mother but it is not OK for her to withhold doctor information from you?
