Well, I just think that this dad can promote a wonderful father/daughter relationship, exercise every second of his visitations with her and laud her accomplishments with lots of love. There shouldn't be any doubt in her mind who "daddy" is if he's focused on the positive with her rather than...
Just another opinion: Although it's very disheartening for you that your ex has done this, have you thought about how confusing it could be for your daughter in "undoing" it? Surely you wouldn't want her to be embarrassed by having to explain a name change to her classmates and kids in her...
**A: ok, so when did you request in writing via certifed rrr mail that L rekey your locks?
You asked the above in reply to my post and I replied. Not sure I understand what your above question had to do with my post...unless it was intended for the OP rather than mine?
HG - I didn't. When I was a renter years ago, I had the locks re-keyed myself upon moving in and provided the LL a copy od the new key...just to be sure it was not on a master and that only the LL and myself had keys. As a LL myself now, we do not put locks on masters.
Betcha this landlord will be back here in January wanting to know how to get the tenants out when he fails to give proper notice prior to the expiration date of the lease.
When a JW comes to the door, just ask them to wait a minute so you can get a piece of paper because you want to get their home addresses for your kids' next door to door fundraising effort....then close the door and let them stand there.
In addition to hauling the vehicle to the street, may I suggest you modify the lease you're using to include a clause stating that any vehicles determined to be inoperable, having expired tags or considered "abandoned" if not moved within X number of days will be towed without notice.
Mind...
Missouri Gal - Yes, that's exactly my point... 9B excludes the requirement for the father's SSN. So, it is definitely NOT necessary for the mother to tell him she has to have it to get a SS card for the child.
Here is a link to the application for a SS card. Note that it only requires the mother's SSN, not the fathers's:

She definitely has another motive for wanting your number.
I wouldn't give my SSN to anyone and if I were you, I'd call the SS Adminstration to ask what the requirements are for this child to be assigned a SSN.
Please give the lady a break. It's obvious she's simply trying to do the best she can for this child. My situation is very similar but with two step-kids I acquired eight years ago when their bio-mother went off to 'crack and pimp land' and her visitation rights were terminated.
Not all Dads...
