What a male b***h!!!! Simple math, if you have kids from an earlier marriage that you can't or won't support, why the h**l should you have more kids?????? Who do you expect to feed, shelter, clothe your kids????

the first kids child support just because you want to take it away from them to support your kids...Divorce your husband and sue him for child support and see how you can raise kids on your own with child support...sheesh!!! then you wil realize how hard it is to pay for bills with household then trying to feed kids and clothe them....Absent parent's responsiblity is to pay support to first kids BEFORE he makes any more kids...

Huh?? I did not say that after divorcing or leaving the first family, the man should stop having kids! He has rights to get on with his life, I have no objections to this.
But what I do object to this: if his income is NOT ENOUGH to support next family without being able to support his first family that he left behind, then he should not have anymore kids until he finds a better paying job and be able to afford the second family.

Just a little reality check for everyone who reads these forums on child custody and child support...there are deadbeat mothers as well. Everyone is so quick to assume that only a man would refuse to own up to their responsibilities, but women do exactly the same things.

I do believe that divorce can be the best thing for all parties in a family. Kids are better off growing up with happy but divorced parents than miserable and abusive married parents. Now, if only most parents would grow up and find a way to co exist on this planet with their ex without using their kids as blackmail. The second your child is born, it should be the most important thing in both parents lives, if that can't beat your hatred for each other, then you obviously aren't parent material.

Ya got a point with that one. They are messed up with all these %%%%. It should just be 50/50, I think alot of parents forget it took 2 to make them, and will take 2 to support and raise them. BUT I do believe the whole Nation needs a sex ed course or a really big condom.
It's been said over and over... (heck in almost every thread) "DON'T HAVE THEM IF YOU CAN"T AFFORD THEM".

personally, I think that divorce, visitation and CS should be mandated by the FEds, not the states. It would save alot of state shopping and parental abduction cases. If ya want a divorce or split from live in with a kid, judge should tell both parties "tough s***! yer stuck! Must live in same schoold district till kid graduates! 50/50 parenting time mandatory! no CS on either end! To me that's fair and everything else is a crock. if ya want to relocate, you lose everything!

For example just in my case a father BEAT the crap out of a kid and is facing court charges for it right now..he should not be allowed to have any access to the child until he gets anger management classes.
In that case he should pay child support period!!! In most cases, I would agree that if both parents earn about the same earnings, can afford both households, then great it would benefit child as long as both parents contribute fairly to what the child needs.
But it won't work in most cases.

Well, yeah! I'm not condoning placing the child with a monster or anything.....In the "ideal" situation, if both parents are equally capable of caring for a child...no abuse, drug or alchahol problems.....you know! sorry for the misconception. I should have specified I guess...

hmm sounds familuar my ex hasnt paid child support for his kid unless you count for 6 months 3 years ago and now has another baby on the way! He lives at his parents house and sent his pregnant gf ( oh by the way he is still married to his second wife hasnt gotten the divorce even started yet) to live with her mother. Then in court he asks for a reduction because of the new baby! How can you reduce 0$ because that is what he has paid in over two years. He finally agreed to let my fiance adopt when we get married because he doesnt want to pay child support and then he acts like I am B**** because I say he still has to pay the arrears. He has never covered the insurance like it was ordered and finally after 2 years of struggling I am off of every kind of state assistance except for the medical as I have to children with health problems. So yeah sometimes we CP's get angry at the NCPs forgive us for wanting them to love and support the children as much as we do
