Yeah well you can say what you want, but I AM his father! I don't understand why you guys keep saying I'm not.

By the way...My ex's husband and MY SON are signed up for a father son karate class. THAT! In itself should be brought up in court because, HE is not my sons father! Even if my son calls him dad! Yeah so my son might know that his "dad" didn't make him, but when he gets old enough, he WILL KNOW that I am his REAL FATHER!

Also, so you guys don't keep praising my ex. I heard that she was out at a resturant with a bunch of girlfriends, and she was seen to be smoking, and having a drink! I only knew her to smoke socially, but I WILL bring up that she smokes! I heard that people lose custody over that!!!

You will not gain custody over her smoking. You are nothing but a sperm donor. If that.

You can be as smart as you want, but I heard she had a mixed drink and a COUPLE of cigarettes!

I've seen many websites since I found this info, and they ALL SAY that women have lost custody of their kids because they smoke! It doesn't matter if she only smokes when shes out with her girlfriends, she STILL SMOKED and WHO was watching MY SON? Grandma? That's not good parenting is it? My own mother told me that her mom keeps my son over night every Saturday!!! What IS SHE doing at those times???

Oh well, a couple of cigs and mixed drinks, that makes a whole lot of difference. You are pathetic. Just because she is a mother doesn't mean that she isn't entitled to take a break once in awhile, geez come on. Hell I leave the kids overnight with my parents, the other parents, their father, their stepmother, my husband.....

Doesn't mean I'm a bad mom.

OMG!!!!! The fact that you think you'll get custody of a child who's life you've never been interested in being a part of because his Mom went out one night and a drink and a ciggie, proves just how little you know about custody procedures. Don't for a second try to convince me that if you had custody you would spend every evening for the rest of your life indoors with your kid and never socialise, never have a drink, never go to a restaurant etc with friends!!!!!! You have obviously lived a very sheltered and lonely life under that rock you call home, you need to go out and learn about the world before you even attemp at being a contributing father.

My mother was adopted, and not once in her life was her adopted father not her real dad, and vice versa. It's not blood that makes a parent.. it's how you choose to raise them. You, having not been involved in his life at all.. well - nuff said.

You are a father too him? OK, lets see...fathers should know this...what is his teachers name? what is his favorite subject, what is his favorite cartoon character? Does he like Pokemon, Bionicles, Yu GI OH? What is his favorite food? His favorite drink? Who is his best friend? Whats his favorite color? does he have the pet he wants? Or have one at all? Does he want you when he has a nightmare and wakes up in the middle of the night? what size clothes does he wear? What is on his favorite Tshirt?

I bet you anything the man raising him knows ALL that!! YOU haven't even spoken to him his entire life... How in the H*LL can you call yourself his father. You aren't a FATHER... Being a sperm donor doesnt make a FATHER, neither does sitting back writing a check, and then getting your panties in a wad b/c the man who IS A father too him treats him like a son.

My ex's husband and MY SON are signed up for a father son karate class. THAT! In itself should be brought up in court because, HE is not my sons father!

Really, my ex tried that... lol, didn't work for him any better than it will work for you... what the HELL do you think the judge will say???? "don't put him in ANYTHING that requires a father to be involved...b/c his isn't, and it isnt fair?" That is more ridiculous than I have words for. MAYBE if you had ACTED like the father you COULD have been..that COULD have been YOU signing up to do that class... It is NOBODIES fault but YOURS that his DAD is doing karate with him, and not YOU... you are truly sickening...

I'd actually be interested in hearing what this loser's g/f thinks of all this. If she's got any brains at all, she's already planning her departure.

I realize someone else commented on this. I read it last night and wasn't going to comment only because it does absolutely no good but I have to admit this comment has stuck with me and the more I think about it the more it pisses me off. Are you really stupid enough to believe that a judge will bash the step-father for stepping up and doing YOUR job? The job that you had the opportunity to do from day one but yet chose not to? I applaud this step-father for showing HIS son that he chooses to be his father each and every day of his life and show him what a REAL father should act like and the love that should be shown.
I also applaud mom! Good for her for bringing out all the stops now. As long as you kept your mouth shut, so did she. NOW she's doing what is best for HER child!!
