    Possesion of cannabis seeds

I think he was saying he didn't intend to cultivate. To OP: According to your state's "Cannabis Control Act," possession of 2.5 grams or less of Cannabis, which according to your state's legal definition, includes the seeds is a Class C Misdemeanor. Most states do...maybe not Alaska or California.

Age of consent in Texas for gays?

I looked at your states penal codes and it looks as though it is illegal for sexual intercourse between homosexuals. You are probably in the wrong state for that kind of open-mindedness. Here is the statue: § 21.01. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter: (1)...

    Shoplifting 14 YO girl

I don't he/she was being sarcastic. If she knew it was going to happen, it would be a factor. If her story remains that she knew nothing of it and none of her three friends implicate her, then plead not guilty.

Someone please give me some insight

I believe, technically a DA has to be ready for trial no later than six months after the arrest. So, I would expect a grand jury to return an indictment or no true bill before then. But there are legal arguments the DA can make to extend this time period if the circumstances permit.

my privacy rights/ drug dogs in my house

Unless your lease has some type of clause for a roommate smoking pot, doubt it, the rent and drugs are two separate issues. Further, if this guy thinks it's going to take dogs to find some minuet iota of weed and conveys that to the police, I doubt they will be sticking their necks out to get a...

I'm new so be easy on me.

Doesn't look good. Well, I would let him rot....it doesn't sound relevant that she decieved him. He would still be twenty and she would be sixteen, probably the same offense. Further, I'm sure the judge's "harsh" sentencing was within the statutory limits. So, no 8th amendment violation. I...
