     interstate visitation

     my hunch is that he got himself a lawyer and the lawyer is just trying to scare you with demands that are unrealistic. Very unlikely (my opinion) that a deadbeat dad will find a sympathetic judge, especially if he didn't try to exercise visitation. I think the same would go for the legal fees...

     I'd sit tight if I were you, you won. Chances of her getting reheard or even prevailing in an appeal are slim unless the judge really screwed up. Be careful thinking as pro se you won't eventually be on the hook for fees and costs, there's lots of ways you can get tripped up. I won my case...

      I'm pro se awaiting an appellate decision, its doable. In order to win an appeal your ex would have to prove that the judge was either flat out wrong or abused his discretion.       If the medical expenses are referenced in the divorce papers, child support order, etc. it is handled by family court, you would file a motion for contempt for failure to pay.
