The father of the child absolutely DOES have parental rights. They may be limited, but he has rights. Also, child support is not an admission ticket.

Limited? Can you tell me what limited rights might consist of?

I can understand it is not an admission ticket. I just thought with him not paying at all for so long as well as no contact that it might help. Hopeful wishing I guess...

The only thing missing here is the allegation of abuse (Dad, Dad's friends, Dad's friend's Uncle Kreepeh, Dad's distant cousin twice removed who lives in Zimbabwe, the cousin's dog's sitter's gardener.... )

Come on people. All she needs is bright orange hair...

Allegations of abuse? What are you talking about? Bright orange hair? Am I missing something?

At any time, Dad can file for visitation/have his current rights enforced.

Gee, do y'all think all y'all would want to hire one of them big ol' Georgia attorneys for something so serious?

Well HECK no. Much more effective to go to an online forum to play, isn't it?

I'm officially calling today "Trollday".

You see, more often than not, Fridays seem to be the little golden ring trolls tend to enjoy the most. Y'hardly get 'em during Mondays to Thursdays unless there's a holiday involved. Ask anyone.

Ok. In order to do that, he would need to do things like complete parenting class, back pay on child support? And if he hasn't/didn't do those, would he still be allowed visitation?

I'm just figuring out every angle of what might happen...Honestly, I doubt he will ever step foot back in my son's life. I just worry.

Dad has rights to access medical records and school records.

Look, you've received the answer to your question over and over. You cannot just undo the adoption.

Good day.

I really didn't need a smarta$$ comment. I was looking for advice. I am not looking to 'play'. I was looking to see if anyone had gone through a similar situation or maybe knew a person who did or had heard of this type of thing so that maybe they could give me some sort of direction that I needed to go. A lot of lawyers are jerks and do not tell the truth or I should say the complete truth. I wanted to do some research in order to educate myself so that when I do find have appointments with family law attorneys, I know what is going on and not letting someone else affect my life and I not have a clue about it. Is there something wrong with trying to educate myself a little bit?

As for it being Friday, I happen to be off today. For weeks I have been looking at DFCS websites and court websites...today, I thought I would try real people who might could give me some insight. Mostly, I just found people who want a laugh at someone else's expense because they don't know the laws upside and down.

Yes I understand that...I just wanted to know why and because I can't what else can I do. Good day to you too!

The "why" is because that's not how it works. You don't just get to "undad" a father because you aren't happy with how he turned out.

I have not screwed my child over. I chose with my heart who I wanted his 'daddy' to be. It was a legal adoption, therefore, I used the law. Just because you see people everyday that do things far worse than I have probably EVER done...combined...doesn't mean I am that type of person.

I truly feel sorry for the children you work with. You don't think with your heart. I'd be surprised to find you have one. I wanted honest help not a self indulged a$$h*le to tell me how horrible of a parent I am and how I have f***** up my child's life.

Any one who plays musical daddies does that to their child. You are a horrible parent. I am not self indulgent. And I am not an a$$****. I am a b**ch however and think you need to learn to quit spreading your legs with the hope of finding an appropriate father for your son. Knock it off.

that isn't rage...it's just reading over the things you are writing and realizing this has become something other than what I wanted it to be :(

Seems to be a habit of yours...things "become something other than what I wanted it to be". Like an adoption in 2010 with a divorce in 2012 and now with new hubby in 2013. :(:(

Edit for filth mouth content and rude comments**

.

In 3 short years you have had a step-parent adoption a divorce and marrage. You have a very quick life that you are visiting on this little boy. Stop doing that. :(:(:(
